FeedForAll Mac is software that assists podcasters to create, edit and publish really simple syndication (RSS) feeds, and it now supports Apple iTunes extensions to give publishers an easy way to create iTune-compatible podcasts, NotePage Inc. said on Friday.
The software has a built-in "wizard" that makes it easier to create and maintain RSS feeds, the company said. The wizard's new extended support walks users through the creation of iTune-compatible podcasts. An FTP upload feature is designed to make the publishing of feeds simpler.
FeedForAll Mac can be used to create and maintain an unlimited number of RSS feeds and podcasts, enabling users to flawlessly maintain and distribute multiple content streams simultaneously. Existing RSS feeds that are improperly formatted are automatically repaired by FeedForAll Mac, ensuring all feeds using the software conform to RSS specifications.
The HTML editor allows content publishers to personalize feeds with images. Live spell check and image manipulation tools are available for both webmasters and content publishers. FeedForAll Mac 1.5 requires Mac OS X 10.3.9 or better and 12 megabytes of free hard disk space.
FeedForDev, also from NotePage, is for developers that want to include RSS feeds directly into their applications.
The iTunes Music Store is now available in 21 countries and features more than one million songs and podcasts, according to Apple Computer Inc.
FeedForAll Mac costs $39.95, and may be purchased online here - http://www.feedforall.com./.
