Macworld SF announces Feature Presentation lineup

Posted by iMark - 2005-10-27

IDG World Expo on Wednesday announced its Feature Presentation lineup for Macworld Conference & Expo, happening January 9 - 13, 2006 at the Moscone Center in San Francisco, Calif. Among the highlights are sessions with Mac luminaries like Michael Rubin, David Pogue and others.

IDG World Expo also announced today that Feature Presentations will now be open to all Macworld attendees — those with either conference passes or exhibit hall passes. In years past, these presentations were open only to those with conference passes.

Michael Rubin is author of “Droidmaker: George Lucas and the Digital Revolution.” At his presentation, Rubin will discuss how “the remarkable tools now on every Mac began as revolutionary notions in the late 1960s.”

At David Pogue’s Macworld Live! presentation, he’ll talk about “the news of the day” with other guests “and plenty of surprises.” Photoshop expert Russell Brown will lead his Power Hour, offering attendees “a wild and wacky ride through some of the key new features found in Photoshop CS.” Chris Pirillo discusses “The Podcast Economy,” and Chris Breen once again M.C.’s the “MacBraniac Challenge,” which pits two teams against each other in a contest of Mac trivia.
