MSNBC on Monday said it has completed a beta test of its adsupported mobile news service which the news company plans to roll out in November.
The service is being developed with SmartVideo Technologies Inc. which is providing the mobile platform to deliver the top headlines and videos from NBC News programs to cellular phones.
The service is expected to be available through a dedicated MSNBC Web site. MSNBC is a joint venture of Microsoft Corp. and NBC Universal News.
