Skyworks Solutions Inc., a wireless chip maker, expects revenue for the fourth fiscal quarter to be approximately $190 million or below the company’s estimates.
This outlook is below the low end of the company's guidance of $194 million provided in July and consensus estimates of $198.7 million.
Skyworks' revised revenue guidance is a result of two factors. First there is a one-time payment to a customer recorded against current period revenue, according to the company.
And there was a late-quarter demand shift away from hub/consigned products and toward highly integrated GPRS, EDGE and WCDMA front-end modules.
