Korean mobile phone vendor LG received the highest levels of customer satisfaction in both Europe and the U.S. and users remain dissatisfied with the quality of photos taken with their phones, according to a survey released Monday by market research firm Strategy Analytics.
LG phones received an 80 percent satisfaction rating in the U.S. and 86 percent in Europe, the research frm said in a statement. Kyocera came in second in the U.S. and Sony Ericsson came in second in Europe, according to the report.
Motorola was ranked sixth overall in the U.S. According to the study, this rating indicates that Motorola will have difficulty getting customers to make repeat purchases.
In addition, about half of all users said they were dissatisfied with both the image quality and the ability to share photos taken by their phones. The survey covered 2000 users in the U.S. and Western Europe.
